T. Gopinathan
Gopinathan qualfied as a professional accountant back in 1964 and worked as accountant and public/internal/management auditor for over two decades. Having completed courses in business management and computer programming during this period, he started out on his own as a freelance developer of business applications running on DOS computers. He designed, developed and implemented over 50 customized applications, covering practically all business result areas, over the next decade.
When DOS began to be replaced by Windows, and sequential programming with the object oriented style, he decided to retire to his native village. When Internet reached his village, he picked up HTML and began to experiment with websites. These led to assignments for writing Web content for other webmasters, and to suite101.com, where he began to research and write on business management issues from 2008.
He now focuses on providing business design services to small businesspersons so that they can enhance the success potential of their business. His goals are primarily:
- To help as many persons as possible to earn a comfortable living through their own, successful, businesses instead of having to depend on the employment market and
- Encourage businesspersons to do business in a way that benefits the community as well as the businessperson
